Long Hair

So I had just brushed Keira's hair while she was distracted by Dora and I was sitting on the couch watching her and I couldn't believe how long her hair is. I know it is long and everyone always comments on how long and beautiful it is and can't believe a 2 1/2 year old has so much hair but it is insane how long it is. I just love her hair and I am so afraid to cut it. So all I do (ok, my mom does) is cut her bangs.

I included a picture of Elaina just because she is cute and getting so big. She will be 7 months old in a couple days. I can't believe how time is flying. She is trying to teeth but even when she is cranky she still keeps smiling.

Just as an update, we have done the joint bath a couple times now and the girls think it is so much fun. They are getting so good at playing and interacting and they just love each other. I hope that it keeps going and that they are life long friends.

Having Fun

So I am trying to be better about having Rick or myself take pictures. I realized the other day that I didn't have any pictures of Elaina getting a bath so I told Rick to take some. Yes I do bathe my babies in the middle of the living room. I did it with Keira too. It is just easier for me. I think Elaina is going to have to graduate to the big girl tub now since she is getting good at sitting up. She loves to splash and play and be nakey though. Since day one. The only newborn I know who loved baths. Anyway, I had to get a picture of it to show to the boyfriends one day. Hopefully soon we will be doing the group baths. What a time saver that will be!

This morning Keira was playing with her legos so I thought it would be cute to plop Elaina down right by her. Elaina can still be unsteady sitting up so I surround her with a quilt if you are wondering what that is doing there. Anyway, they both loved it and played so well together. Keira would build stuff and show it to Elaina (although she refused to build anything while we were taking pictures. Typical.) Elaina would get any lego that got close enough to her and suck and drool all over it. Yummy. They are two cute little girls and I am so happy that they are in my family.
