Food is Good

Rhianna had her first cereal today. She loved it. I was expecting a face or spitting it out but she just sucked it down and waited patiently for more. She was even helping shovel it in at some points. I couldn't believe how well she did. My girls have always had an easy time transitioning to solids and always liked their food but she was the best first time eater for sure. She didn't even make a mess. The only mess she made was at the end when she decided she was done and raspberried at me. Now we can only hope getting some solids in her will help with her pukeyness. Fingers crossed.

Minivan!!!!

We are super excited that we finally have a minivan. I also got a better deal than I expected to which made it that much more exciting. It is a 2008 Toyota Sienna for those who are interested in those sort of things. We couldn't be more excited to drive around without practically sitting in each others laps.

Cute!

I just found this picture on my camera so Daddy must have taken it. Very cute!

"The Paci Pixie"

Elaina got a book for Easter called "The Paci Pixie" (click here if you want to see the book). She really liked the book and we kept talking about the Paci Pixie coming to take away her pacifiers for new babies but she didn't like that idea. I finally made it a goal in my head to get rid of them at the end of May. Yesterday was the last day of May so I followed through on my plan. We put Elaina's pacifiers (yes, we have backups for our backups) out on a cute blanket. Last night while she was asleep the Paci Pixie came and got her pacifiers and replaced them with bubbles! So fun! She wasn't to thrilled about going to bed without her pacifier and we had a little harder time going to bed then normal but she went to sleep without any meltdowns and was so excited to see her present. She hasn't even asked where her pacifiers are. Hopefully naptime and bedtime will go ok without them. We will see.
