Really Random

This summer has been going by fast, I guess. I don't know what we have been doing and I really wish school would start but when I think about it, I can't believe it is almost August.

The baby had her first food other than formula and cereal. It was green beans. She isn't quite sure if she likes it. She ate a lot of it but she spent a lot of time gagging and shivering like it was the nastiest thing she had ever put in her mouth (sort of how I feel about green beans but my girls have always liked them!) We will try again tomorrow and see if she warms up to them at all.

We got home from the grocery store and the girls decided to build a castle out of the food that needed to go into the pantry. They are very creative, I will give them that. They weren't exactly thrilled when I declared it time to put the food away. I was starting to get worried they were going to break a jar of baby food. I am such a party pooper.

This is just funny.

Elaina is our middle child for sure. She likes to find little ways to remind us that she is here (like we forgot!). This evening she was still eating dinner when I had to go feed the baby and she got into the peanut butter that was on the table and gave herself a beard. I tried to yell at her but I just ended up laughing really hard. Oh well. I am probably too mean of a mom most days. She wins this round!

More Parties! Are We Done Yet?

The girls birthday cake. Thank you, Walmart! The kids loved it and it was super easy to serve up. Just grab a cupcake!

Happy girls.

Opening some presents. They are lucky to have summer birthdays because they get bbqs and opening presents outside!

We Washingtonians don't use umbrellas when it rains, we use them when it is sunny. Our sensitive skin can't take the UV rays.

This poor little baby had a cold but she was such a good baby. Next year she is going to be quite the helper at her sisters' birthday parties, I am sure.

Keira is 5!

Keira is five years old now! I can't believe it. Yesterday was her birthday but we have been celebrating all week long it feels like. Blogger decided to switch up the order of the photos but we had Keira's princess party last Saturday. A local children's salon has a party room and the owner is a member of the church I go to and she donated a party to an auction the teens in our church had for their youth programs over the summer. I bid on the party and won! So Keira got this fun friend party and they had a blast. They got their hair and nails done and got to play princess themed games and make princess themed crafts.

On Keira's actual birthday we went to the zoo with Grandma Marcia and Great-Grandma Williams. It was the perfect day. It was nice and cool so all the animals were out playing. I have been to that zoo a million times and I saw animals out that I have never seen out before! It was kind of cool. She got to pick out what we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner and she picked donuts for breakfast, sandwiches for our picnic lunch at the zoo and pizza for dinner. Then she wanted strawberry shortcake and I found a strawberry boston creme pie at the store and thankfully she thought it was perfect! What a fun day for a cute 5 year old!
