It was a beautiful day yesterday (in the low 70's!) so the girls got to go outside and play. Keira used to play outside by herself last summer but this year Elaina is big enough to be her playmate! She was so excited the first time I let Elaina go outside and play with her. Our yard was not in a good enough condition to let Elaina go out and crawl around in it last summer so she rarely went out there. Now she can walk and our grass seed that we planted last fall has filled in a lot of the yard so it is much nicer. It is still a work in progress but we try. Anyway, side walk chalk is our favorite outdoor past time so the girls played with that a lot. I came out to check on them and I found out that Elaina had been doing more artwork on her clothes than on the patio. She was COVERED. Good thing it washes out really easy.
Oh, and notice our poor Jada's back. She had a huge tumor growing on it and we finally took her into the vet and had it removed. This is after two weeks of healing. It was WAY worse when she came home from the vet after surgery. I didn't have enough guts to take a picture of it. It was bad. She has been taking her meds and the incision is healing really nicely. The dr doesn't think that she will have much scaring which is crazy. As for the tumor, it could reoccur but they got all of the bad cells out and she will be on benedryl for the rest of her life to keep it from popping up again. She should be fine though.

How do you Spell "I-pod"?
So by our count, four babies can fit in a single umbrella stroller. Just in case you were wondering. Elaina is so good at taking care of her babies. I am always finding her feeding, burping and rocking her babies. She is going to make a good big sister eventually! (No this is not an announcement.) Oh and strollers can do some really good tricks. I think she learned this from her daddy. I am not taking credit for it.
Keira is getting really good at her letters. She says that is says "ipod touch." Someone obsessed much?

Duets
Yesterday my friend, Dorothy, brought her two youngest kids over to play. They had lots of fun with all of the regular kid toys but they were fascinated with the piano. Julianna is a year older than Elaina but they are pretty much the same size. How cute are they playing a little duet? Max and Keira are just a couple months apart and actually had a lot of fun playing together. I think it helps that Keira is turning into such a tomboy. They both built guns out of the legos and ran around "shooting" each other. Oh boy.
