Aunt Andrea (and Uncle Chas) Come to Visit

On Wednesday we went to my mom's and spent the day with Andrea since she was in town. Rhianna just hung out all day. She kind of had a rough time. Not sure why. She is normally a really happy baby but she was just in a mood that day. She loves that fist. She is always sucking on it and almost prefers it to a pacifier. Not sure how I feel about that...

Elaina loves for her Grandma Marcia to read her books. Grandma has lots of fun books and they always go for them as soon as they get to her house.

Keira has been a reading fool lately. She is getting so good and I am amazed at the words she can sound out these days.

Keira and Andrea made cookies. Andrea taught her the finer points of eating butterscotch chips. I am so glad I got that picture. Cracks me up.

This was from this morning. Keira has been really good about reading her sister books and Elaina loves to sit and listen. I am glad they are (usually) good about entertaining each other. Now if I could just get them to quit rough housing so much. They wrestle and fight more than any boys I know!

I love how blogger rearranged my pictures. They couldn't get enough of Andrea. We don't see her enough. Good thing we are planning a trip to Idaho in August to see her!
We forgot to get any pictures with Uncle Chas but he was around a little bit! Cute story: Elaina is obsessed with Chas. We are not sure why. She hasn't really been around him much but she points him out first in any picture she sees of him and gets excited when he waves to us when we are talking to Andrea on Skype. So when we got to Mom's house I took her into the dead animal room because he was there watching t.v. I pointed him out and asked if she knew who he was. She got all shy and whispered to me behind her hand "Uncle Chas." I kept trying to get her to talk to him but she wouldn't say anything. Finally we went to leave the room and she whispers to me behind her hand again (this is the girl that is not shy and never whispers, by the way) "I love my Uncle Chas." So cute. We are glad she likes him. Someone has to. ;) I guess Andrea does.
