Exercise and Style
Keira got this fun exercise and movement DVD from my mom for Christmas. We just opened it up today and this is what we got. Before I opened it, Keira ran in her room and got her winter coat headband and put it on her head. By herself. Where did she learn this? I have never worn anything like that and I can't think of anywhere she would have seen it. The rest of the outfit is also hers. She refuses to wear pants half of the time we are at home. She tends to go potty more by herself when she is just like this so I usually allow it. Needless to say, I couldn't stop laughing and when I took the picture she wouldn't look at me and told me to quit taking her picture. I think that might be her teenage self coming out because she knows that she is going to be majorly embarrassed by these pictures later in life. So funny. The DVD is a success though. She has done it twice today. Really good thing to have for us homebodies that forget to get exercise most days. Maybe she will have better habits than me.

Christmas Day with the Inmans
We had a great time on Christmas with the Inmans. We got to open MORE presents (Keira was just loving it!) and we helped Grandma and Grandpa open theirs. We got lots of fun things from Argentina from Aunt Andrea but the best present of all is that she is home. Rick did get a pretty cool hat though. Too bad those Argentinians are much smaller than these 6'4 Americans. Elaina looked darn cute in it.
After lots of food, fun and games, Keira got to help frost some gingerbread men that Aunt Andrea baked. Good thing we had lots of practice! The best part was eating all of the fun cookies.
We had a great Christmas and hope that everyone else did as well. Hopefully we all took time to remember the reason for the season.
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
Christmas Morning
We had a great Christmas morning. I got the kids up and Keira (who usually takes at least 30 minutes to drag out of bed) bolted out of bed and into the living room. It was so exciting to see her so excited. She was in awe that Santa had really come! To our house! Can you believe it? We loved opening all of our presents and Elaina had to shake every single present that we got. Keira even knew that a present was legos before she opened it. What a smarty pants! We love legos at our house, so those were a big hit. Santa knows us well.
The girls were so cute in their matching pajamas. I am so glad I took advantage of a big clearance at Walmart last winter! It is so fun having two little girls and experiencing Christmas through their eyes. It makes Christmas the best time of year.
Christmas Eve with the Pierces
We spent Christmas Eve with Rick's family. We had lots of good food, including pizza. Keira and Rick have been looking forward to it all week. They LOVE pizza which is a Christmas Eve tradition with the Pierces. We had lots of fun opening presents and the girls loved all of the new toys that they got.
Daddy really liked the new toy that he got too. It is a disgusting zombie video game if you are not familiar with the Left for Dead series. Boys.

New Camera
Here are some of my first pictures with my new camera. Click here to see the one I got. I got it for a WAY better deal though. I only bought it for $129. Yeah, I am bragging a little. lol. I actually didn't know that it was such an expensive camera. So yay for me. Rick is way jealous but he got it for me for Christmas. I hope that I will have more pictures now that I have my own camera that I like. So we will see.
Isn't Rick the best dad in the world? He is probably not going to be happy that I posted those pictures but I think they are hilarious and show what a good dad he is. Thanks Rick for all that you do.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Cookie Time
Yesterday we made the dough, then I baked the cookies last night and this morning, Keira and I frosted a bunch of the cookies. She has been so excited to do it since I mentioned it a couple weeks ago. It must speak to her artistic nature. ;) Yesterday we even made a special trip to Michael's to get food coloring (I was originally going to just get it from Safeway but they didn't have any.) Keira was so fascinated by making things different colors. I said that we could make pancakes pink and now that is all she wants. I think that I am going to have to do that soon....
We are thankful for Curious George because that kept Elaina busy. She was trying to be WAY too much help!

Come on Over!
I need input on my Netty Jabbers site so come read some posts if you haven't lately. I am trying to write more often but I have been super busy lately. Tis the Season. I don't even have any pictures to post on this blog. I keep forgetting my camera. I really wish that Santa would bring me a point and shoot camera! I can't stand lugging around our huge one. So I will work on that too.
