It Keeps Growing, and Growing, and Growing...

Here is my belly now at 25 1/2 weeks. In some ways it feels like I have been pregnant forever, in others I can't believe I am already this far along. Keira was getting jealous of me having my picture taken and not her so we took one together and it actually turned out pretty cute. For any of you who are curious, Rick and I finally did agree on a name for the new baby. There was just a little blood shed and hurt feeling over the whole thing but we got it hammered out. lol. Just joking. I think we are both quite happy. Now you will have have to wait 15 more weeks to find out what the winning name is. :)

What Month is it Again?

This is what we woke up to this morning. They had said that it might snow last night, but I wasn't expecting to wake up to sticking snow flurries. This month has been so cold, wet and dreary. We are still waiting for spring to show up. I have never seen snow stick this far into April before. Crazy!

Little Einstein Mania

Keira was lucky enough to get a Little Einsteins t shirt from her Grandma Marcia a couple months ago. It is too big and was bought to wear this summer but I made the mistake of getting out her summer stuff a week or so ago to take inventory of what we have and what we still need. She has been begging me to wear it almost everyday since I got it out and I have said no everyday but today she decided to put her foot down and insist (those with an almost two year old know what THAT entails) so I decided to let her wear it. Then I needed to get some stuff done since Monday is my big cleaning day of the week (somehow the weekend is never too kind to our apartment) and so I turned on Little Einsteins for her to watch. She has been more into Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh lately but when she discovered they were the same characters as the ones she was wearing she was SOOOOO excited. So I thought I would take some pictures since I haven't for a while and we actually had charged batteries for our camera.

Way Better News

I just talked to my Doctor's office and I don't have G.D. yet. I am so excited. I still have to be retested at 28 weeks but at least I can relax a little with the diet. I had some real chocolate to celebrate and it was GREAT! :)

More Belly Bump

Here is my belly at 21 1/2 weeks. The baby has started kicking me quite strongly the past week or so. I just hope that this baby is a little more mellow then Keira was. We can all wish. I managed to survive Easter without sugar. Rick's grandma brought sugar free cream puffs and they were delicious. So I will survive I think.
Rick and I think we have agreed on a first name but we are having some pretty strong debates on a middle name. So hopefully this baby will be named before she arrives. I am pretty confident she will be but we can both be stubborn. And no, we won't be telling anyone the name until after she is born, so don't ask! ;)

Fun in a New Dress

Grandma Marcia made Keira a new summer dress and I decided to have it be her "Easter" dress this year. I got her all dressed and ready to go to church and then she ended up not going because Rick had a crisis at work and had to stay home and fix it (someone hacked their website and deleted all of the content on their server. Not a good day.) Since I had to play the piano for most of Sacrament meeting for choir I went by myself and she stayed home with Daddy and took a nap instead. So since she was already cute and Grandma Holly, Grandpa Allen and Great Grandma Mary Lou were coming over, we kept her in it. At least someone saw how cute she was yesterday.
Take notice that she is reading Curious George in the last picture. She loves Curious George. She got a Curious George stuffed animal for Christmas and it is her favorite animal. She always sleeps with him and loves to make monkey sounds. My mom just got her a bunch of George books on Friday and gave her some for home and some for at Grandma's house. Keira has been reading them constantly ever since.

Sucky News

I just got a call from my Doctor's office and I have to go get the 3 hour glucose test which is pretty much just to verify that I do have G.D. again. I am really bummed. I am going to go do it on Friday so I will probably know for sure on Monday or Tuesday, but I am just going to start pretending that I have it now. Probably best for me and the baby. So everyone wish me strength (I hate needles!) and eat your favorite treat for me.
