Why do my babies hate me?

Ok, I know they don't really hate me and can't help what happens while I am pregnant but sometimes it sure feels like they do. I have to go in AGAIN for a 3 hour glucose test. I am not optimistic. Plus I am dreading getting my blood drawn for what seems like the 100th time for this pregnancy. I know that you are all wanting pictures of my cute girl, but I haven't taken any lately and she is being a crank today! So maybe this weekend.

Hermana Inman

Yesterday Andrea was set apart as a full time missionary for the church. We had a small testimony meeting before she was set apart and the spirit was so strong. I think the strongest I have ever felt it in my parent's house. I didn't bare mine because I am not very good at expressing my feelings but most people who were there did. I think the one that meant the most to me was Rick's because he is such a recent convert compared to everyone else and his testimony of missionary work is so strong. We will miss Andrea while she is gone. She left Washington today and will report to the MTC tomorrow at noon. I know that she is doing what she needs to and that she will be so blessed. The people of Buenos Aires will be lucky to have her.

Keira and Her Dog

Keira and Jada are still continuing to become best friends. Keira provides the food (whether it is from her high chair or stealing dog food from the bag) and Jada provides Keira's entertainment. Keira will yell "JADA!" from anywhere in the apartment and continue to yell it until Jada finds her and then still will continue to yell it just because she is having too much fun saying it. Please note that she rarely calls me by my name but she has Jada and Dad down. So rude. Anyway, yesterday we were getting ready to go to my parent's house and I put Jada's collar on her because Jada always comes with us. She is just a part of the family. Jada always gets all hyped up when we do this because she knows she gets to do something so she was running around like a dog on speed. She started panting really hard and Keira noticed and started imitating her. I told Keira that Jada was hot. Keira looked at me and said "Jada hot?" I said yes, so she walked over and blew on her like she does with her hot food. It was soooo cute. Jada is so lucky that she is so taken care of.

Play-Doh Fun

Today Keira was wanting to get into things that she wasn't suppose to and was throwing lots of little tantrums so I decided to break out a new toy. Her Grandma Marcia gave her a bunch of art supplies for Christmas and part of that was Play-Doh so I got it out with her never opened smock (I think the smock was for the finger paints that I have yet to get out but it worked for this too) and sat her down at the table. I tried to explain to her that it wasn't to eat but of course the first thing she did was take a little chunk off of it and put it in her mouth. After a second she made a face and spit it out and was quite convinced that it wasn't food. After that she played and mashed and broke it up into little pieces. She had lots of fun. She even learned how to say "pink."
So cute.

It Keeps Growing, and Growing, and Growing...

Here is my belly now at 25 1/2 weeks. In some ways it feels like I have been pregnant forever, in others I can't believe I am already this far along. Keira was getting jealous of me having my picture taken and not her so we took one together and it actually turned out pretty cute. For any of you who are curious, Rick and I finally did agree on a name for the new baby. There was just a little blood shed and hurt feeling over the whole thing but we got it hammered out. lol. Just joking. I think we are both quite happy. Now you will have have to wait 15 more weeks to find out what the winning name is. :)

What Month is it Again?

This is what we woke up to this morning. They had said that it might snow last night, but I wasn't expecting to wake up to sticking snow flurries. This month has been so cold, wet and dreary. We are still waiting for spring to show up. I have never seen snow stick this far into April before. Crazy!

Little Einstein Mania

Keira was lucky enough to get a Little Einsteins t shirt from her Grandma Marcia a couple months ago. It is too big and was bought to wear this summer but I made the mistake of getting out her summer stuff a week or so ago to take inventory of what we have and what we still need. She has been begging me to wear it almost everyday since I got it out and I have said no everyday but today she decided to put her foot down and insist (those with an almost two year old know what THAT entails) so I decided to let her wear it. Then I needed to get some stuff done since Monday is my big cleaning day of the week (somehow the weekend is never too kind to our apartment) and so I turned on Little Einsteins for her to watch. She has been more into Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh lately but when she discovered they were the same characters as the ones she was wearing she was SOOOOO excited. So I thought I would take some pictures since I haven't for a while and we actually had charged batteries for our camera.
